Fine Motor Skills
Our innocent little Peanut is also a very bold infant. And thus life never gets boring. The cutest thing ever is Lia's little puppet show that features two very talkative hands. Usually Lefty is striking up a conversation with Righty, but always gets annoyed with Righty's unsatisfactory answers. Lefty is then picking up a fight and tries to eat Righty up. The whole show is dubbed by Lia, who lets both of her cheeky little hands talk in her husky voice.Oh, and the things these fingers can do! They can team up, but they also work very well individually. Today Lia was discovering her middle finger. It was hilarious to watch. Of course I will not encourage Lia to flip someone the bird, but I can't say that I'm not proud...

P.S. Tooth number four came in! With her upper left lateral incissor cutting through the gums Lia has the vampire look going on. Just in time for Halloween. And here comes another fun video of Mrs. Giggles.

The finger was bound to happen...Lia is just expressing herself to a sometimes hostile environment, a personal attack on Peanut, if you will.
Says lady at the mall,"Ooh! Look at that stroller!"
(Not the adorable baby INSIDE it?!
Insert: BIRDY!)
"Aw, is she crying?" Asks 'concerned' waitress...
(NO! Clogged DUCT! Insert, yes: the BIRDY!)
Aw heck, we love Lia's little birdy and her giggle gut too!
Oh, how cute! But your try to redirect our attention didn't quite work out - I can SEE those numerous shopping bags hanging at the stroller... ;o)
Lia, just for the record: that's a very inappropriate gesture (off the record: still, sometimes just downright necessary, but don't tell anyone (especially old ladies who seem to get offended more easily) that the adults around you secretly encourage you to flip the bird, especially when they really aren't supposed to but really want to themselves (because they're adults and once you get older people find you offensive and not cute when you flip the bird - but then, hey, usually that's the point, right?).
So, right on girl - as along as you giggle like you do all will be forgiven anyway. You're just too lovely - and I bet you know it. :-)
Love
Auntie Uli
