Smiley Baby
Lia has recently started to coo and babble! And when she rounds off her communicating skills with one of her gorgeous toothless smiles, we are simply overjoyed. One might think that this is perfect timing, as Lia is about to embark on her first trip to Germany where she can easily make new friends with her flirtatious ways.
But mind you, it's not that easy to elicit a smile from her. The only one who succeeds to do so every time is the blue bird of her mobile. Lia is totally in love with crazy Blue Bird. But you can't always count on Lia's good spirit: During our last infant massage class she was throwing her first little tantrum. While all of the other babies happily peed on their blankets, Lia did not stop crying and only relaxed when it was time for the finishing strokes. Oh well...
Lia has become very specific about her likes and dislikes. Unfortunately bathing has become one of her dislikes. Forget the relaxed and happy face we admired two months ago. Only when we wrap her into a towel and cuddle and kiss our little bundle is Lia willing to calm down and enjoy herself. Stubborn little peanut.
