Best Buddies they are. And always 'in this together'. As in: Lorenzo's toy box. There are probably sharp corners of blocks, fire trucks, and books poking their butts, but hey, they are tough little Peanuts. (Wait, is that Pablo the male doll that Lorenzo is sitting on? Smart.) Together they can walk over broken glass, climb high chairs (great), and fight backyard water monsters. And when it's time to relax on a bean bag, there is always enough space to scoot over.

Here are two cuddly couch potatoes. (VIDEO!) But there is no time to relax, is there now?

Go Bananas!

It's hot! 99 degrees and a humidity that kicks you right in the face. If you want to go bananas, but not crazy, better stay indoors. And maybe take a couple of baths. When Lia wants to take a bath, she will lightly tap on her breast or belly with both hands, the way she does when she's naked (and thoroughly enjoying it!). Today she's been tappin' away like crazy, so we went for a swim three times: twice at home and once in Brandy's shady backyard. Not too good for the skin, but very good for the spirit and for keeping cool.

If you don't want to be exposed to the sun, you should at least enjoy the summer by creating something sunny inside. A sunflower, maybe? The Peanuts participated in their very first art class today. They glued and painted with a lot of sunflower power and created two very unique green and yellow masterpieces.

Here is Lia meticulously sorting sunflower seeds. Think Daddy will like this? We'll know Sunday, when it's Father's Day!

Addition: My daughter just came running to me to tell me that she had spilled water on the table. "Ma nass!". Ma means water. This is her first two-word sentence!!! I'm really impressed, both by her improving language and her concern about the mess. We didn't wipe it up. Afterall, we like indoor water rafting.
