Saumäßig. That's how the kids felt last week. Pneumonia, bronchitis, fever, tick bite, you name it, we had it. Sick puppies get treated to a couple of etxras in our family. You get to watch a lot of TV and you are allowed to sleep in Mommy's bed (meaning that you don't come knocking at midnight and find a niche, which is the rule, but get to pick a whole pillow in the master bed while Mom gets the nice cuddly gap between mattresses - hello this is Europe). Anyways, the kids are well again, Mommy survived, and we all went for some fresh germfree air in a zoo called Wisentgehege.
All inclusive. Pony riding, face painting,
plus a grandmother willing to carry a little lion around the zoo.

The lion:
And the butterfly preparing to hatch:
Tired little lion cub, ready to go home with the zookeeper. Just like in the book "Good Night, Gorilla", the lion may sleep in the master bedroom. If he sneaks in at midnight and finds a cuddly spot ;)
Good night, little beasts.
Good night, Gorilla.
