First grader

On August twentyfirst our six-year-old turned into a
sharp looking and sharp thinking schoolboy!
And we were celebrating this special day with a German custom -
with a big surprise-filled cone for our big boy,
who is bringing so much joy to our life.

Third grader

It's hot, it's humid, it's exciting, it's new. It's China!
And, it's Lia's first day in a new school that is only a five-minute-walk away.
Still, we cannot simply run there,  we have to stand still first, so that we will be able to remember this day properly and forever, blogstyle.
