My Blue Jeans

"When I wake up, in the morning light, I poo in my jeans and I feel alright!" These will be Lia's lyrics once her first pair of blue jeans will fit. We still have to wait a couple of weeks because I'm not really fond of the rapper look with half the diaper hanging out.
Sunday night Charlotte was hit by thunder storms that for our European taste were exceptionally loud and scary. Thunder and lightning were raging behind the window, and it was a pretty cozy night, up until the electric power breakdown, which lasted for several hours. The baby food I had painstakingly prepared all weekend and then put in the freezer was ruined. Butternut squash, sweet potato, carrots, and beef, all peeled, chopped, steamed, and pureed. First frozen by mom and then defrozen by a storm that played havoc with Lia's food. The wind puffed and we huffed. This is our farewell-picture.We also have some great news, though uncomfortable for Lia: Her bottom front teeth are shining through! And you can already feel the right one emerging. One of these mornings it will pop out, and then Lia will smile at us with her first loony tooth.
Here comes another video:
