Party Time!

Little man turned 1. Happy birthday, Big Ben!

Look at this little birthday dwarf, so grown. So stylish!

The birthday started as early as seven, with the kids jumping at the presents. There were much more surprises neatly arranged on top of Ben's main present, the blue wooden chest, presents that partly arrived from very exotic places (thanks to all of you out there!). But I wasn't fast enough to take a proper picture of the arrangement. I've long accepted the fact that I can't keep up with my kids and all the changes that happen within the blink of an eye. Ben ONE?? What? My BABY?

Lots of wood and less plastic. And a pretty little crown for Ben. King of the day. And of every other day of the year.

And while Ben is enjoying his presents, Lia is whipping up a birthday cake for her little brother. She's an expert.

Then the VIP guests arrive. All over the age of 60 and in the mood to PARTY! (Gramps is peeking through the crown. Love it.)

Please be seated. They all look so well mannered. But the high average age is deceiving. Things did get really wild! Fun!
