Auf Wiedersehen, good bye

Lia's little friend Yolanda is leaving for good. The contract for this 'All American Gal' has expired, sadly. Yolanda will have to make a new start in Germany, trying to reconnect with her roots and adjust to a somewhat different culture and lifestyle. Oh, you will do just fine! Just trade the sweet potato for the potato, the steak for the sausage, the SUV for the PKW, and the fried green tomato for the Dutch hothouse tomato. See ya next summer, bosom buddy!

Are you sure Thiemo was involved in the creation of Lia? This photo of her is ALL Nirit. (Sorry Thiemo...she did inherit your ummm...uhhh...superb soccer skills!)

Bye Bye Yolanda, we always thought you'd make a nice Peanut pal. Too bad your parents lived out in Mohammad's arse...

We'll wave at Yolanda as she flies over England. And compliments to her mum, she's grown into a real beauty with a lovely smile and gorgeous eyes, and will surely make German peanuts swoon with the delights of having her back!

Bye, bye, Yolanda! Another good reason for Lia (and her much-missed parents) to come home more often (and eventually .... well, stay). They sure are adding up as far as I'm concerned. Sigh.

Rosi, Sonntag Forelle (und Karpfen - falls das verführerischer für Dich ist) in Sülfeld - wanna come? Hole Dich in Fuhlsbüttel ab, wenn Du's schaffst.

and, really, there's nothing like the Dutch hothouse tomato! Especially this time of the year! Yummy.

Oh Uli, poor Uli has no idea what outdoorsman skills the Peanuts have been learning for their upcoming wilderness adventure. Yes, while Thiemo is packing the Cordes family goods to be shipped off to Germany, the peanuts and the peanut mommies will have our own little plan in play...out in the mountains of North Carolina. or is is Georgia? hmmm, we're not telling! You'll jusy have to come and find us!

"Lia, do you want to go back to GERMANY? Whats that?" (Lia) "Nein GRAZIE!"

See?!

oh, I'd like to see that - peanuts and peanut mommies camping out in the wilderness - resisting the lure of not only Dutch tomatoes but also Donna fashion stores among other really, really cool things over here (far too many to list) - come check it out! We can't compete with NC weather, I have to admit that, but it sure is nicer than camping out in the wilderness ... don't worry, I won't try to find you if that's what you plan. Not in my lifetime. (I think Thiemo might though ....)

I think we should arm wrestle to settle this.
