Stepmaster!
A month and a half of hard physical training have paid off: Lia is walking! We are no longer talking about a certain number of steps. It's all about performance now. Walking from TV to table to mom to highchair to gate, turning a corner, diagonally crossing the living room, and walking in a circle. It's such an adorable show-off! And her new tricks are almost performed free-handed. With her lucky socks in one hand, Lia can go to great lengths. She has every reason to proudly lift that cute chin!

Whoo-hoo Peanut! Walk it baby! (ooh, especially since floors in Germany are much colder than in North Carolina. Its a fact. Really.)
Hey Lia, welch niedliches Tänzchen Du da aufs Parkett legst, sieht richtig gut aus. Dann kannst Du ja bei Oma und Opa alle Ecken senkrecht erkunden...und dann Oma und Opa sagen!! Wir freuen uns so auf Dich und Deine lieben Eltern!! LG, Tante Su

das machst Du aber richtig toll! Genau wie Asala, die Du noch nicht kennengelernt hast, die ein paar Tage vor ihrem ersten Geburtstag ebenfalls die Schwerkraft besiegte!
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, wie Du die Häuser Deiner Großeltern erkundest (und keine Sorge: die Böden bei Oma Sarah und Opa Herbert sind dank Fußbodenheizung gemütlich warm und man kann dort wunderbar auf dem Bauch liegend Scrabble oder ähnliches mit der Mama spielen ohne zu frieren, so dass Du auch problemlos kleine Verschnaufpausen dort einlegen kannst.)
